The resort-style outdoor area boasts a pool and lounge area paved with Concrete Collaborative Trails pavers in Acier and Coal colors, and a bar clad in Concrete Collaborative Dwell Tails tiles in Acacia from the Strands collection.

Each underside of the sawtooth roof above every balcony is painted a different pastel color.

The floating home's rear deck displays an outdoor swing and bright yellow sconces from Sonoma Country Antiques. The dock is arranged with Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, and Marka and Joe's kayaks.c

Brian designed the house around the two fruit trees in the backyard, which they think are between 80 and 100 years old. "I love to host and really wanted the layout to accommodate large groups of friends without feeling claustrophobic," Melissa says. "I think we achieved this by utilizing our outdoor space so intentionally."
