The library serves as both an office and a small, informal meeting space. Offect’s hyperpigmented Spoon chairs create parallels with traditional Sri Lankan clothing and the country’s rich natural landscape. The soft, vibrant fabric also accentuates the simple lines of an Artur desk from Scandinavian design collective SA Møbler and a Monterey coffee table by Montana.

Onstage, Fredrik Carlström, founder of Austere, a retail and educational space dedicated to Scandinavian design in downtown L.A., will discuss the under-celebrated masters of Norway. Louis Poulsen's PH Artichoke Lamp hangs inside the store.

Outfitted with Pollock desk chairs and a marble-topped conference table by Knoll, the office in Monory’s French farmhouse pays homage to international design. The Tizio task lamp is by Richard Sapper for Artemide, and the leaning John Ild bookshelf was designed by Philippe Starck for Disform in 1977.
