The cabin’s profile slopes on one side to create an ever-changing play of shadows on the ceiling and roof throughout the day. The ceiling remains free of lighting and other technical installations, allowing it to frame the room with its beautiful shape and put the focus on the views outside.

The pantry is to the left of the door.

The room benefits from much more natural light, thanks to the open plan and new windows.

Cunningham designed the en suite bathroom as a standalone volume within the otherwise open third floor to allow light and passage between the main bedroom and the study.

Exposed brick in the main bedroom reveals metal struts inserted by David Cunningham to tighten the party wall's attachment to the facade.

This circle is used for their everyday schedule and notes.

Walls painted ‘Bold Blue’ by Benjamin Moore are joined with the rainbow-hued wallpaper. The rug is from NuLoom.

Benjamin Moore ‘Dark Burgundy’ paint covers the built-ins, for unexpected contrast with the wallpaper. “It's like a strange color combination that you wouldn't normally expect anybody to be open to, but they were very excited about it,” says Reyes.
