Savvy Notebooks for Work and Travel
The introduction of smartphones and tablets has made it easy to let your tech take over in the note-taking department, but there is something undeniable about the appeal of putting pen to paper. This assortment of notebooks from the Dwell Store includes slim books for easy grabbing on the go, as well as statement pads from modern design icons.
This Marimekko Notebook is defined by its bold floral pattern. Named Siirtolapuutarha—the Finnish word for allotment—the print is inspired by the community gardens allotted to city dwellers in Helsinki. This notebook contains 96 ruled pages, an interior pocket for stowing loose papers, and an elastic band to keep the notebook secure.
The Color Pop Mini Notebooks from Korean stationery company Paperways are slim, small notebooks that are ideal for taking in a purse or messenger bag. Each set of three notebooks is available in a soft yet vibrant color—pink, yellow, and blue—and contains 48 pages. The pink books include graph paper, the blue books include ruled paper, and the yellow books include a distinct hexagonal graph paper.
Each Eames Notebook in Whitbread Wilkinson’s series includes a graphic design from Charles and Ray Eames. The Numbers pattern notebook, shown here, includes 120 pages and an elastic band to keep the notebook secured. The eye-catching pattern will make a bold visual statement on a desktop or console table.
