“The curved shower is something I’d seen in Australia while camping—there were these cylinders outfitted with showers, all outdoors,” says Facundo. “Slowly I’m becoming friendlier with curves—I never used to do curves.”
In the primary bedroom, Facundo hand-molded the microcement headboard, which has two niches that can be used as nightstands.

Facundo Ochoa’s beach house is an ode to craft and coastal living with a sprawling deck, DIY details, and lots of room to hang out.
One of the south-facing bedrooms overlooks the pool deck and surrounding greenery. In total, the home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The dining table is from Chilean furniture shop Moblia and the pendants are from Interlight.
The open kitchen is the home’s heart—and its literal center, designed so the couple can host casual gatherings with friends and family. Iragüen Viñuela chose light gray granite countertops, and matching engineered wood cabinets.
“The material palette is the same for the entire house,” says architect Daniel Iragüen, pointing out the porcelain tile floors, laminated pine ceilings, and whitewashed pine slats that form the interior walls.
