Here are ten highlights, and be sure to explore the complete collection at the Dwell Store.
Designed by Benjamin Cherner, the Cherner Lounge Arm Chair is defined by its inviting, curved shape that recalls the original 1958 Cherner chair designed by Benjamin’s father, Norman. The molded plywood shell, solid bentwood arm, and laminated wood base flow fluidly into one another, which gives the lounge chair an organic, calming sensibility.
Loll Designs creates versatile furniture and accessories “for the modern lollygagger.” Each piece is designed for use outdoors and is weather resistant. A part of Loll’s accessories collection, this garden tote is designed with clean lines and an easy-to-grab handle. It can be used—as the name suggests—to tote things around, or as a planter.
From New York–based designer Sandy Chilewich, the Mini Basketweave floor mat utilizes two yarns layered over two, instead of the traditional four over four found in the signature Basketweave. The result is a subtler, quieter texture and pleasingly uniform surface. The mat is durable and adaptable to a variety of spaces.
This sculptural hummingbird feeder from upstate New York designer Jim Schatz makes an elegant addition to a backyard, front porch, or garden. Made from glossy stoneware in a richly saturated red—designed to attract hummingbirds and other small birds—the feeder is inspired by flowers. It features an open mouth like a bloomed flower and a yellow stamen-like center that provides food to birds.
An industrial take on an overhead chandelier, the three-arm chandelier from Brooklyn’s Workstead can be reconfigured into a variety of shapes. Structured as a horizontal fixture, the Industrial Chandelier can hang just three feet from the ceiling, or when aligned vertically, it can hang five feet for a more dramatic effect.
