Since the couple think of the addition as an “extrusion,” they “carried that theme to the rest of the house with the vertical fixtures on the stair and the vertical slats in the bathroom vanity,” says Jason. The marble sink basins are from Stone Forest. The custom shape of the mirror swirls around lights from Rich Willing and Brilliant. Faucets from Rejuvenation are mounted on white oak backplates inset into the slats.

The primary bath includes custom white oak millwork, vanity sconces from Juniper, a ceiling light from Allied Maker , Cle Tile floor tile in Stone Slate, and shower tile from Heath Ceramics

Dan and Leah’s bedroom features a custom platform bed by Unruh Furniture and Cypress sconces by Cedar & Moss from Rejuvenation.

In the kitchen, a pair of Swell LED pendants by Pablo Pardo from Design Within Reach hang above an island lined with Industry West stools. The appliances are from KitchenAid.

In the family room, a vintage Victor Wilkins coffee table joins a sofa from Article and a rug purchased in Delhi by homeowner Reshma Shamasunder’s parents. Reshma is pictured here with her daughter.

The designers removed extraneous elements added by others in the ’70s so that Pedersen’s striking exposed trusses could once again take center stage. They also relocated a vintage Aztec fireplace by Majestic from the den to the step-down family room and fitted it with chimney extensions from Malm Fireplaces. The Tribeca pendant lights by Sonneman, the vintage credenza from Sunset Bazaar, and the television by Samsung

The kitchen, which was moved to the sunny side of the house, embraces Anyeley’s taste for simple, modern forms. Cabinetry painted in Hague Blue by Farrow & Ball surrounds a central island fitted with Nerd bar stools by Muuto and a Dot Line Suspension pendant by Lambert & Fils. Completing the kitchen is a Litze faucet by Brizo and a Crosstown sink by Elkay, along with rangetop and wall ovens by Dacor and a Benchmark refrigerator from Bosch.

The kitchen is illuminated by the largest of several light wells. A dining table from Batay-Csorba flanks the end of an island, which also features a Disegno D4 faucet by Aquadesign and a XOOTUBE 38 IP40 pendant by LED Linear handing overhead. The space also features a Gaggenau cooktop along the opposite side.

The ceramic piece over the two-sided fireplace is by Brie Ruias, with Jasper Morrison Glow Ball light above.

Verner Panton–designed pendants from A+R hang in the kitchen, which also features counter stools from BassamFellows. "Because of the oak and the brass fixtures, it feels more bespoke than your average kitchen," says Bestor, who also designed the slatted fence outside.

In the newly opened dining area, a table from Pinch is joined by chairs from The Future Perfect and a rug designed by Bestor and Cheung for the Rug Company. The pendant light and the sideboard are both from A+R.

The kitchen now features a seating area featuring a Moooi Container table, Hay chairs and a banquette upholstered in a crimson fabric by Kvadrat. The pendant is by &Tradition.

To add warmth and coziness to the bedroom, Rodriguez hung wood-look wallpaper from Belarte, then paired it with a bed from Soho Home, a floor lamp from Crate & Barrel, and vintage chairs.

Pental tiles surround the tub and line the shelf in the ensuite.

Instead of a table lamp, the homeowners installed pendant lights that flank the bed: the Liuku Drop Mini.

Tonalight Nuance tiles were used for the backsplash here. An MGS Taps faucet is mounted above a Julien undermount sink.
