Energy saving features include construction from structural insulated panels, Energy Star Certification, multi-zoned Daikin HVAC, passive solar features, solar water heater, remotely operated cupola windows, and LED Verve lighting system. 6kW solar panels can be connected to an energy storage system to ensure no cost for electric utilities. 100% of rainwater is collected, stored and treated to provide all water in the home, for the landscape, and for the Gunite pool. Water is also conserved through a professionally designed Florida-friendly, drought tolerant landscape; Pex plumbing with a central manifold; and high-end, water saving fixtures. Other features include a safe room, security system, polished concrete floors and countertops, ADA friendly design, screened pool and patio, summer kitchen, pet "room", central vac, vaulted ceilings, deep and wide porch, and a two car garage with workshop area. Home has three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It neighbors an established organic farm with CSA and farmstand produce.
