Daily Needs by the Belgian studio segers is a modular prototype that’s one part chicken coop, three parts urban farm, as it includes components for a raised vegetable bed, composting bin, and tool shed.

Built for a budget of $7,000, the Chicken Coop by Tall Architects was their first project completed as a firm, in 2014. And combines the coop on the side with a garden shed and storage space, as well as a covered porch. It’s composed of corrugated metal, corrugated plastic, treated lumber, and cementitious siding, with triangular timber trusses supporting an eight-foot cantilever.
