Family-Friendly Neighborhood Takes Shape in Slovenia
Dekleva Gregorič Arhitekti creates a modern brick neighborhood in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Since the site used to house a brickyard, brick walls with cut-outs are one of the primary building materials.
The neighborhood includes 185 dwellings.
Each building contains a mixed-use common area.
The neighborhood integrates outdoor public space as well.
The five-building neighborhood was commissioned by the National Housing Trust in Slovenia.
