A vintage mahogany cabinet by Borge Morgensen, covered with a floral wallpaper by Josef Frank, adds a dose of cheerful color to the adjacent dining area.

Makelike wallpaper in the “Tangle” pattern ensconces the room. A wall-mounted Wayfair sink with a brass faucet from Kohler was hung with a Blu-Dot mirror and the Branch Sconce by Worley’s Lighting, a South Carolina studio.

“I have a friend who has vintage wallpaper in his bathroom, and it’s been an inspiration lately,” says architect Nicholas Fiore, who collaborated with Westward Foundry on the interiors.

An alternative to the panel that the customer wanted - Italian fabric wallpaper. They not only have a beautiful print, but they are also pleasant to the touch.

Rich wallpaper and inky-toned finishes make for a dramatic scheme in the small powder room, that contrasts with the bright hallway. The wall sconce is by In Common With.

By moving the foot of the stairway away from the front door, Bischoff and his team carved out a transition point from the stoop and sidewalk below, providing a welcome measure of privacy. (Visitors must scale the steps and stand at the door before they can peer in.) The concrete floor tiles were left over from an earlier MADE project. “We didn’t have an equal balance of black and white or even the right sizes,” Bischoff says, “so we made a design moment out of what we had.” Saving on the floor tiles meant that Casale and Crofton could spring for hand-finished wallpaper by Swedish company Sandberg.

Floral wallpaper in a soothing green hue wraps this workspace designed by Jessica Helgerson Interior Design. The botanical pattern, paired with the rich green trim and ceiling, creates a calm atmosphere that ties back to nature.

The dark-hued wallpaper from Rifle Paper offsets the brass sconces from Schoolhouse Electric.
