Clever Ideas for Bicycle Storage
With the summer season in full swing, it's prime time to dust off those bicycles for a nice ride. Here are some useful ways to store your wheels when they're not out for a spin—from a centerpiece display, to more space-efficient, wall-mounted fixtures.
Proudly display your bike with Thomas Walde's Shoes Books and a Bike, a sturdy shelving unit with plenty of space. The stand is made of fir, coconut fibre and steel, ensuring support for even your heavy-set rides. A large clip holds onto the bike's tire to keep it upright and steady. And below the main shelving space, Walde has created three smaller areas for storing your shoes, helmet, books and bags. This could easily be the centerpiece of your living space.

The Clug Bike Rack is an innovative storage solution for hanging bicycles or for supporting a bike on a floor. The Clug is nearly invisible when mounted on a wall, and is designed not only for minimalists who want to avoid the clunky look of a bicycle rack as well as people with limited storage space. The Clug is available in three different sizes that accommodate road, hybrid, and mountain bicycles.
