our industrial modern bed: the frame is darkened to its dark grey/blue color, then oiled and waxed to remove moisture and control patina. the platform consists of a hand-selected blend of renewable pine, douglas fir, and cedar. the wood is sandblasted to reveal the texture of the woodgrain, aged using a natural vinegar-based wash, and then sealed with a floor-grade oil finish for longterm protection.
