Kim's bedroom features a vintage four-poster bed lit up by Jami Girouard table lamps and a vintage capiz lotus chandelier. She painted the mural on the ceiling herself with bronze metallic paint.
The vintage IKEA chaise bought at antique store Joint Detail, is a favorite spot to read in the morning. The vintage rug is from Round Top, and the bed from Design Within Reach.
“We wanted to bring in the green from the living room into the daughter's bedroom and complement it with a blush pink as those were her favorite colors,” says Wagh. The pink is Asian Paints Rose Petal and the green is Asian Paints Mountain Stream.
Many of the apartment’s motifs come together here, including the circular detail in the closet door, which is also found in a main room and repeated in the hardware, and the fluted glass. Custom arched mirrors hang on the wall.
“Blue is a color that suited the grandparents’ likeness,” says Wagh. “They wanted a subtle sense of cool and calm in their room.”
Prerak and Krina wanted to be able to open the room to guests when hosting parties, so the window installation functions as both storage and additional seating.
Kaviar Collaborative livened up this blank-slate three-bedroom apartment with a pastel palette and custom built-in furniture.
The featured vintage shell mirror is from Sarasota Trading Company.
A plastered wall divides the room from the closet. Originally, the couple thought they’s only have one bedroom in the apartment, “but we are quite social,” says Jon, so they have an extra for visiting friends to stay.
Objects in the primary bedroom include an ash sculpture by Tom and a 19th-century Shaker carpet beater. The Berenice lamp is from Luceplan.
