The designers specified an integrated sink and vanity out honed Calacatta Monet marble, set against a wall of dimensional Cyclone tile from Fireclay, with an Aalto A330S Golden Bell Savoy Pendant for contrast. The walls are Roman Clay ‘Nitty Gritty’ from Portola Paints.

Marble envelopes the bathroom, a nod to the homeowner’s bathing experiences in Japan and Europe. “He wanted to pass that experience onto his visitors,” says Elsley. “It’s a scoured marble, not just high-finish, so it looks and feels like a sculpture.”

“We wanted [the bathrooms] to feel bright, modern, and clean,” says Greenwald. “And so I think these are a good example of what we did throughout, which was employ a contrasting palette.” A new skylight is lined with white oak, while fossil black stone accents are juxtaposed against marble tiles.

In the bathroom, the Unity Vanity features an integrate neameled steel sink and is designed to be easy to install and to maximize interior storage. This piece was part of the catalyst for the launch of Henrybuilt's Primary Objects collection.
