Tender Bar + Kitchen

Tender is located in a bank building which was originally built for the Arsenal Bank of Pittsburgh in 1884. The design responds to the restaurateur's vision for a period concept of an early 1900's "speakeasy." In order to create the speakeasy feel, the elaborate bar was designed to be the restaurant's centerpiece. A long, upholstered banquette, opposite the bar, anchors the room.
