Our house of the week is this impressive prefab shelter by Dutch firm Cubicco. Built to withstand Category 5 hurricanes, extreme heat and cold, ten-foot snow loads, and earthquakes, the 685-square-foot structure is currently available in the Miami area for just over $115,000.

Cubicco, a pre-engineered housing company based in Miami and the Netherlands, creates homes that are designed to meet winds of up to 180 miles per hour, per the hurricane zone code of Miami Dade County.
