Serene Artist's Studio Lets In Just Enough Scenery To Not Be Distracting

Peterson Rich Office designed a modern studio for artist Tula Telfair in Lyme, Connecticut. The space is designed to complement the picturesque setting, while not letting it take the artist away from her work.

The structure is located on a flood plain, so it is raised 30 inches from the ground by a floating deck. "This move had the added benefit of limiting exposure to ticks, which is a problem in Lyme," Peterson says.
