Pulling off Mediterranean Modern in Tuscany

Pulling off Mediterranean Modern in Tuscany

By Dwell
This Italian villa is serenity incarnate.

In seaside Tuscany, Italian architecture firm FABBRICANOVE realized a villa that embraces modern lines and the mild climate.

A lap pool and protected courtyard with a lone tree flank the home.

Modern and Mediterranean architectural styles are not always in harmony, but both schools value clean, white materials.

A thin floating staircase rises to the second floor almost weightlessly.
