The ranch-style compound features vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer spectacular mountain views.

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is looking to part ways with his 12,260-square-foot mountain estate in Telluride, Colorado. The award-winning actor, writer, and producer purchased the sprawling retreat with his wife, cookbook-author Jessica Seinfeld, for $7,550,000 in 2007. Three years later, the couple listed the home for $18,300,000, but they took it off the market within a few months. Now, the duo are putting the property back on the market—this time at a slightly lower asking price.

Natural stone, wood, and glass decorate the exterior of the estate in Telluride, Colorado.

Built in 1991 by Lipkin Warner, an acclaimed Colorado-based architecture firm, the retreat is set on nearly 27 secluded acres in Telluride’s private Raspberry Patch enclave. The residence was originally designed as a series of ranch-style structures, but the famous homeowners have remodeled the residence extensively over the last decade, expanding the size of the compound while also redesigning much of the interior space.

Floor-to-ceiling windows line the walls in the great room, which floods the space with natural light and unobstructed mountain views.

Upon entry, a generous-sized foyer opens up to the spacious living areas, which are capped with double-height vaulted ceilings that greatly enhance the home’s grand proportions. In the main room, floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views of the neighboring San Miguel Mountains, while a large stone fireplace complements the rustic aesthetic.

The primary gathering space features a grand stone fireplace with wood accents.

In the kitchen, a large central island offer plenty of space to meal prep. The home offers several dining areas, including a more formal space between the kitchen and living room.

Warm wood details extend throughout the residence, including in the kitchen, which features a large central island, custom cabinetry, and two farmhouse sinks. The main level also includes a cozy, wood-paneled library that offers direct access to the outdoor areas.

Built-in shelves line the walls in the wood-clad library, which is located on the main level.

In total, the Telluride estate offers 11 bedrooms and bathrooms—as well as three half baths. Other notable features include a fitness center, yoga studio, game room, and four-car garage. The property also comes with a private, well-maintained trail system and is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Telluride Ski Resort.

Each of the 11 bedrooms features a different color scheme. Here is a peek at the primary suite.

Another one of the bedrooms is dressed in light shades of pink and yellow.

A private trail system weaves throughout the 27-acre property and leads to a flowing creek.

The 12,260-square-foot home offers 11 full bedrooms and bathrooms.

An aerial view of the estate showcases the snowcapped peaks just beyond the secluded lot.

225 Raspberry Patch Rd in Telluride, Colorado, is currently listed for $14,950,000 by Anne-Britt Ostlund of Mountain Rose Realty.
