Tamer Nakisci is an interdisciplinary designer with a strong vision and fascination for the future. With his ability to play with ideas and forms, emotions, materials and technologies in surprising and innovative ways, Tamer explores new scenarios, physical and emotional interactions between the human, spaces and objects through his work.

Tamer studied Industrial Design at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts. He started his career at Fiat Advanced Design Concept Lab – Milan in 2004, followed by his first worldwide success in 2005 at the Nokia Benelux Design Awards with his groundbreaking “888” concept. In 2009, Tamer was selected among “Europe’s 100 young creative talents” by the European Union, and has been invited to numerous workshops and conferences around the world.

Based in London and Istanbul — Tamer is working across a broad range of projects, varying from product design to installations. His relatively short career has garnered him a plethora of international prizes and exhibitions, including a showcase at Villa Noailles Design Parade and two Red Dot & iF Product Design Awards.
