Devoid of cabinetry, the kitchen is fitted out with industrial cantilevered shelving from E-Z Shelving Systems in Kansas City. The red tiles behind the stove are from Heath Ceramics.
In the open-plan kitchen, bowls and platters by Heath Ceramics and bamboo trays and tongs from Design House Stockholm decorate the farm-to-table buffet on the steel-topped kitchen island.
The court exposes the sky, fills the previously dark loft with natural daylight, and brings accessible outdoor space into the primary living zones.
