Hydraulic cement tiles in the kitchen are presented in a "carpet-like" manner surrounding the kitchen island. The hexagonal tiles were designed by Reinpintado and manufactured by Mosaista. The custom millwork was designed specifically by Estudio Caballero Colón for this home.
The home’s impressive green roof also allows it to nearly disappear into the surrounding meadows.
Opposite the dining room is an outdoor seating area overlooking the lap pool and gardens.

The main entry opens up to an expansive living room, while a long hallway continues behind the kitchen and leads back outside. A skylight appears to divide the home in half, creating an interplay of light, space, and form.
Erpicum is known for using architectural elements to obscure the entry and orient the home toward the landscape rather than a single view. Visitors approach the home along a walkway that cuts through plantings and evokes a connection to the home's location along a prairie.
In the wintertime, the living room is cozy and welcoming with its large fireplace and warm lighting.
Earthy materials like natural wood tones, limestone and Italian lava stone were used in the bathroom.
