Modern architecture is rare, says writer and editor Jaci Conry, in the Boston suburb of Cohasset, a haven of historic Federalist, Greek Revival, and shingle-style homes. Conry, a resident of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, found the flat-roofed International Style structure she profiled for her article "Walter Gropius Hagerty House" purely by happenstance on a scenic afternoon drive along the town's rocky coastline. After a bit of research, she was thrilled to discover the house was designed by Bauhaus masters.
