This lithograph, called People Work-Evening from 1937 by the American Benton Spruance shows the teeming urban hordes toing and froing both above ground and below.
British brand Buster + Punch showcased a line of beautiful bulbs that replicate the old Edison filaments. Designed to be exposed, the bulbs are available in spiral and teardrop shapes and look particularly good when teamed with Vitamin's lamps (previous slide).
Over on the Australian Pavilion at 100% Design, Melbourne-based designer Mark Douglas exhibited a line of two-toned blown glass pendant lamps fitted with incandescent bulbs.
The residents of this maisonette, located in Prague's Vinohrady district, were a young couple returning to the Czech capital after living in London for several years. Stepanova took cues from London's industrial character (with a healthy dash of minimalist design) in devising this remodel's striking aesthetic. In the first bathroom, seen here, a brass washbasin from Morocco is flanked by a Tolomeo Micro Parete lamp from Artemide.

Chicago-based graphic designers
Brandt Brinkerhoff and Katherine "KK" Walker (both have day jobs at big-time branding agency VSA Partners) have designed a series of four typographic posters based on children's books. One passage is selected from each–"Behave yourself and never mind the rest" from Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit, for example—and printed in a boldly colored font over complete original text and illustrations, often etchings, from the first edition of the book.
