Bruce Greenlaw worked as a laborer on the Trans-Alaskan pipeline and as a carpenter and architectural woodworker in Northern California before converting to publishing in 1988. Since then, he has been an editor for Fine Homebuilding magazine and has written for the Chicago Tribune, Bob Vila’s American Home, Western Interiors & Design, and Professional Deck Builder. He’s also currently a contributing editor of Carpenter magazine and JLC magazine.
