Appreciating that lofted bedrooms aren’t for everyone, Boddington designed Lara: a $136K USD model that places a bedroom large enough for a queen-sized mattress with space to spare on the ground floor.
Apart from featuring custom finishings and modified windows, some of the interior partitions in Cherry were replaced with slatted screens to create a brighter interior.
The home features three bedrooms. The largest sits at one end of the ground floor past the bathroom and a staircase that leads to the two bedrooms above it.

The Hazel was the company’s first model to feature their hallmark catwalk that wraps around the second story. Hardwood reclaimed from timber that had fallen into rivers during transport was used for much of the home’s flooring.
The founder of Shaye’s Tiny Homes own residence, the steel- and cedar-clad Hazel is a 230–255 square foot design that starts at approximately $137K USD. Flexible spaces like the semi-detached room at the short end of the porch were added to the house to help make it resilient to changing needs.
