Studio.bna is directed by architects Brett W. Nave and Kelley Bishop with studio locations in Livingston, Montana as well as the Gulf coast in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The design team is committed to excellent design and sustainable practice with work ranging from custom residential to specialty commercial, educational, alternative energy, zoo/habitat design, site planning, LEED and design/build. We firmly believe in hands-on experience and detail; to be good at what we do we feel that architects simply must know how to build and we, as architects, should be able to build what we create. From furniture and steel fabrication to excavation, framing, and fine craft, we feel that every move we make should be considered both environmentally and artistically. We strive to create architecture, integrating landscapes, and space with an honest sense of the human referent complimenting the greater environment and our place in the social and physical ecosystem. We strive to balance our work with the built and un-built environment in a way that the boundary between the two are blurred and seamless.
