Frederik Farg’s RE:Cover series gives fresh life to found furniture.

Gärsnäs’ new chair Emma is designed by duo Färg & Blanche. It is inspired by the easy chairs popular in the 1800s, but the construction is modern, with thick layers of felt keeping the back sturdy yet flexible without the help of a solid frame.

"In Rock Chair by Fredrik Färg, four pieces are together to become a low-level rocking chair that is really comfortable. Fredrik become the designer of the year in Sweden last year," says Färdig.

For his RE:Cover series, Swedish designer Fredrik Färg gives salvaged chairs a new lease on life with the help of sculptured, moldable felt.

Architect Fredrik Nilsson and author Keshni Kashyap blend Scandinavian modernism with a measure of Indian style to create a thoroughly L.A. home.

The couple's daughter reads in the cozy nook just inside the front door painted in a vibrant blue from Benjamin Moore. Of the storage area below, Fredrik says, "In Sweden, there's always a place to sit and take off your shoes. This is a version of that."

Färg's latest project is this flat-pack rocking chair for Design House Stockholm.

The chair is made up of five parts and assembled without the use of hinges or screws.

The 510 Cabin is one of Leggitt's designs, executed with the help of student apprentices.
