We tried to recreate the original charm of the machiya townhouse that was lost during the extension work. The exceptional sense of the architect and the hands of experienced craftsmen have helped create a sophisticated space that brings out the beauty of the materials.
The calculated natural light insertion and the tenderness of indirect lighting, and the gradation of gray selected to respond to it. It is safe to say that the kyo-machiya itself is a work of art that will help sharpen your senses.
