The architecture and site planning of this contemporary waterfront residence led to a minimal, modern, and energy-efficient family home. Situated on a bed rock foundation this project expanded and developed a 1950s kit house. We utilized the existing footprint to bring more space and character to the home through the expansion of the third floor and garage. With a gallery space in the entry, vast outdoor dining, entertainment center with pool and spa features, the improvements bring substantial value to this home. By using the existing footprint we kept the original appeal the owners found in the house but maximized its spaces function for the family. The changes we have made on the exterior are reflected on the interior with a minimal yet tasteful utilization of whites and greys to create a refreshing space.
