From Catalano Architects

Set on a steep slope, this house is nestled in a neighborhood of early 20th century homes. The architects sculpted the site to allow for an amphitheater shaped family outdoor space and a graceful street approach. The building is clad in New England fieldstone and Vermont slate with a French Colonial influence. The design is inspired by the desire for openness and connectivity, anchored around a double height entry with elliptical stair. Oversized windows and an open floor plan allow for unobstructed light-filled rooms that easily adapt to a growing family’s needs.
