Take a peak into this pre-war, newly renovated Upper West Side apartment completed by Assaf Leib, principal and founder of Leib Designs — NYC-based architecture, design-build, and development firm.
Located in the heart of the Upper West Side, this luxury 1,000-square-foot apartment is both bright (thanks to natural light) and dramatic, mixing light and dark tones to create a stunning, open-yet-intimate home for NYC fashion designer, Lia Kes. Entering through the residence’s front door, an airy living space positioned to capture the most sun exposure possible, provides an abundance of natural light and city views. Architectural columns and floating ceilings create a sense of separation for dining and living - achieving better flow for the two-bedroom, two-bathroom residence.
Further catering to the client’s minimalist, contemporary taste was the implementation of warm, dark European wide-plank oak floors, accented by floating LED lights placed strategically to offer a sense of infinity, that climb the far wall. Beautiful walnut and black matte custom cabinetry enhance the beauty of the bathrooms and kitchen, which feature high-end appliances including a Wolf six-burner stove, hood, and convection oven as well as a Spanish Natural Quartz countertop.
