A 1990s Vancouver Island home in the Comox Valley, once lacking in character and inviting spaces, has been dramatically reimagined through the addition of two striking contemporary Orangeries. These light-filled extensions have breathed new life into the residence, transforming it into a haven for gathering and connection. The first Orangery, an extension of the living room, now draws the focus to the backyard pool, creating a captivating focal point. The second, a modern kitchen, serves as a vibrant hub for family and friends, perfect for both casual meals and lively entertaining. Both additions are crowned with expansive sky lanterns, flooding the interiors with natural light and drawing residents into these luminous spaces. With clean, minimalist interiors and contemporary classic design considerations, these Orangeries have swiftly become the heart of the home, redefining its purpose and aesthetic.
