Complete renovation and roof extension / The goal was to develop a town house that combines ”Gründerzeit“ (Wilhelminian 19th century) qualities with today’s requirements in living space, office space and urban space, in addition to visibly linking these with our environmental standards. The idea was to realize an energy-conscious total concept that makes use of the potential of the south-facing orientation and front garden (alternative energy sources). The Viennese architecture office the next ENTERprise Architects was commissioned to combine two of four apartments and additionally create furnishment for the kitchen and dining area. The unconventional approach is dominated by the light, the open space and the unusual color pick of pink and blue.
