This 680 square foot, two bedroom, one bathroom condo on the edge of Atlanta’s Inman Park features a soulful and bold design aesthetic that taps a passion for color and texture, while showcasing how to pack a design punch in such a tiny space.

The creative force behind this unique space is Amber Guyton of Blessed Little Bungalow design firm. She worked closely with her single female client to bring her love of art, cultural events, reading and travel to life in a space through a mix of her own through furnishings, paint, wallpaper, fixtures and decor. The primary objective was to ensure that her client felt her home was a true reflection of herself.

Given the constraints of a small space, Guyton prioritized functionality and ample storage, while infusing the apartment with vibrant hues to give the illusion of a larger footprint. She was able to incorporate a spacious media console and a strategically placed nightstand, as well as creating a multifunctional entryway zone with storage for keys, coats, and bags.

The living room, inspired by the client's art collection, showcases creative freedom with a deliberately non-uniform gallery wall. Guyton's understanding of her client's adventurous taste allowed for unconventional choices, such as a traditional rug with a lounging cheetah.

In the kitchen, Guyton refrained from painting the cabinets, opting instead for updated hardware, pendant lights, brass features, and pink patterned wallpaper. The dining area features a small bistro table and chairs for a more sophisticated eating space.

Guyton's approach to creating a curated, non-cookie-cutter feel extends to the bedroom, where a moody "boutique hotel" aesthetic reigns with deep, rich colors and a floral wall mural behind the headboard. The bathroom serves as the cohesive element with pops of yellow and rose against a jungle-inspired wallpaper, completing the Crayola box-inspired theme.

The challenge of the smaller footprint led Guyton to strategically design the second bedroom as a dual-purpose home office and guest room, featuring a sofa bed for efficiency of use space.
