We bought our home about 2 years ago after moving to Chicago from NYC and after some interesting adjustment periods... We finally spread our wings and made our home our own. I am a former fashion designer who has become a vintage shop owner, and my husband is a software engineer with a keen eye for design.

Our home is a 3 story, 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath gut reno and when we bought it, it had the charm and personality done by a contractor that evoked a cold rock. After chipping away little by little and a recent kitchen/first floor remodel, our home and our heart are in one place.

As a lover of all things vintage, we have a true mix of old and new (mostly old) in our home. Besides the renovation in the kitchen we have used vintage furniture, textiles and smalls to make everything feel cozy and unique.

I'm attaching some photos of our first floor (after photos) and our baby room, the two places I am most proud of, but truly they all are so special.
