The 1966 Mid-century Modern home designed by Murrell & Callari, an architectural firm in Baton Rouge, La, was bought in 2018 by current owner, Sonia K. Wagner, who had the vision to modernize and return this gem to its rightful glory. The Treehouse sits on an enviable lot of land in Baton Rouge which front/south faces LSU Lake and west faces City Park Lake.
All main living is on the second level. Surrounded by large windows and a wrap around cantilevered balcony, you step into a spacious open living/dining/kitchen area. The en suite principal bedroom directly accesses another cantilevered balcony.
To accommodate visiting family and friends, Ms. Wagner had the downstairs portion of the house enclosed to create an additional en suite bedroom/den.
The Treehouse was meticulously renovated to include a number of the original cedar cabinet pieces.
