We wanted a very small studio apartment that we could put in the backyard where it could be used by visiting family (a couple) and let to students or on AirBNB. It is built in a 20 ft shipping container with the Queen bed (which folds up to provide a desk) at one and , and the bathroom (shower, toilet and basin) at the other end. Wrapping around the bathroom is the tiny kitchen (with refrig, microwave oven, portable induction cook top and sink) The wardrobe is actually in the access area to the bathroom, which makes the bathroom feel much bigger. The wall above the bed is fully mirrored which gives the illusion of being in a 40 ft container. The sophisticated bed / desk mechanism is such that the desk always remains horizontal so you don't have to remove your computer, or dinner plates off the desk before folding down the bed!! There is a fold daown dining table, wall mounted TV and glass doors out onto a side deck.
