Tucked along the cliffs of Palos Verdes, The Spy’s Relic is a pristine mid-century modern condo that has remained virtually untouched for over 55 years. It was the home of Marian Sturz, a CIA operative and trailblazing archaeologist who discovered the long-lost city of Hecatompylos. The residence is a living artifact of Cold War–era design and global adventure. With original furniture, Middle Eastern textiles, a concert grand piano once played by Liberace’s longtime bandleader, and a library filled with photographs from the Sturz family's time in the Middle East, the home is a time capsule that blurs the lines between domestic life, espionage, and history. Overlooking the Pacific with private beach access, the property also features a jade tree that is over a century old, a living relic of the Sturz family itself.
