The Neblett Residence

Our home, designed by the locally renowned architect Clinton Marr, is located in Riverside, CA. My wife and I are currently in the process of bringing our kitchen into modern standards while attempting to seamlessly blend it with the existing mid-century modern design. We believe this blend of historic architecture with contemporary functionality could make for a compelling feature. We are the 2nd owners of the home, which was registered as a historic landmark in 2022. We thought this project might be a great fit for Dwell, showcasing the unique challenges and creative solutions involved in preserving the architectural integrity of a historic home while updating it for modern living.
