The Lux (symbol: lx)

The lux (symbol: lx), is the SI derived unit of illuminance and luminous emittance, measuring luminous flux per unit area. It is equal to one lumen per square metre. In photometry, this is used as a measure of the intensity, as perceived by the human eye, of light that hits or passes through a surface.

The living spaces of this private home stay true to the original concept of light. In the formal sitting room, there is a happy mix of fabrics as curtains and cushions adds a layer of depth and texture to the space. The feature elements are all in shades of gold and polished wood, that allow for both natural and intended light to bounce of these rich hues creating a stunning visual appeal.

While in the dining room, the same texture and colour pallet extends itself trying the two spaces together.
