I’m reaching out regarding a project I thought you might be interested in, as a dramatic before and after of a 1965 Modernist residence in Los Angeles (located in Ladera Heights neighborhood, an enclave of mid-century modern houses). I enjoy Dwell and appreciate your before and after features, as it helps people visualize the possibility of an update while still maintaining the essential character and defining features of a house.

We’re in the midst of the project currently and hope to complete within the next few months. The house was in pretty severe condition so it is a large undertaking to restore and update. Attached are some images to give you a sense of the house and project. It was designed by Asian-American architect Charles W. Wong (we were able to verify as we discovered the blueprints in a corner of the garage).

Let me know if you’re interested as we’re happy to share it and our efforts to bring back this house. I can be reached by email or cell at 215-262-2980.
