This is a 2021 renovation of a home that was purchased in 1975 by Patricia H. Ladew dedicated to free-roaming homeless cats that are available for adoption. It had been outfitted to be more clinical before, but we gave the interior a makeover to have it be more comfy and home-like. The renovation is comprised of a Living Room and Kitchen on the upper floor, with a re-fashioned "Recreation Room" and a room that contains a memorial to Pat Ladew with a cat-scaled replica of the front of the house in the Basement.
Our theme was decidedly mid-century modern, as if to seem like the house has been owned by the cats since the early 70's and has been "frozen in time."
