The Kaipara Sauna

Kaipara Sauna was designed and built to fit seamlessly and graciously beneath a house designed by renowned New Zealand architect Dave Launder, overlooking the Kaipara Harbour, Northland New Zealand. The sauna was meticulously designed to meld into the original house design, adding interest and further angles to the overall aesthetic of the house, whilst maintaing stunning and unfiltered views across the harbour whilst sauna bathing. The exterior is cedar clad, and the interior is fully lined with western red cedar throughout, chosen for it's innate longevity, antibacterial properties, durabilioty and aroma.
