The Impressionists

This client is no stranger to custom homes, as they build a new one every 8-10 years. With their last home being very traditional, they wanted this one to be much more modern, without feeling cold. The home (approx 5,000 sq ft, four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms) has an extensive collection of Cuban art, as well as a rare boathouse along the canal of the Coral Gables neighborhood. As it is now illegal to build a boathouse here, renovations had to be very delicate - if anything collapsed, they were unable to reconstruct it.
