Massive interior windows allow natural light to cascade over the entire upper living space, while a fully tiled bathroom creates a remarkably seamless transition between the walls and shower.

Downstairs, the exposed stone walls set into the original German Box timber frame contrast the imposing metal of the staircase, welded together on site. This authentic country retreat was designed and built for a New Yorker who was looking for a respite from the Big Apple, but still wanted to bring a bite with him.
