From softloud architects

Softloud architects renovated this tiny [50sqm] 1905 cottage from the inside out, giving it back its dignity, sense of time and place, and small-town character. The existing local timber frame and roof structure have been retained and reinforced from above, the old brick chimney revitalised and new retaining walls, landscaping and verandah added. Lumps and bumps, wear and tear, and the uneven timber floors and ceilings have been retained to reinforce the feeling of age.
