This delightful late 1940s ranch house was the home of the Malcom Clarke’s who were part owners of the Las Vegas Sands hotel. In the early 60s the Clarke’s retained famed Palm Springs interior designer Arthur Elrod to remodel the house. Elrod created a new front entry using whimsical architectural block, enlarged the kitchen with wonderful St. Charles all steel cabinets and added other special bathroom details and additions. The home now presents an eclectic mix of post war ranch and with charming mid century detailing unique in Palm Springs. The large living room features open beamed ceilings with views towards outdoor patio and pool beyond. The current owners have restored the home by keeping as many of the original 1947 and 1961 details while updating systems and infrastructure. Offered at $2,150,000
