Recycled IBC totes once held cooking oil from Carnival Cruise lines. They were repurposed as fish tanks for Aquaponics. Water will come from a rain catchment system, constantly recirculating and be backed up with fresh well water. Constant filtration helps convert fish waste into fertilizer for the plants, while the plants clean the water for the fish. Aquaponics tanks, bead filtration and sump. Up to 200 fish can be stocked and processed here

Tucked between remote rolling hills in Southeast Wyoming and bordering the Medicine Bow Forest, this recycled, repurposed off-grid structure is designed to blend tastefully and work with the local environment. Built to withstand 100+mph winds and brutal Wyoming winters as well as take advantage of their intrinsic energy; Once inside, the futuristic functionality, antique art, technology and attention to design becomes apparent.

Over the 4 year build, everyone wondered what the heck is it? ‘It’s too big to be just a barn, but not quite large enough to be called an Ark’. The owners, avid animal lovers and caretakers of "Diamonds in the Ruff Ranch" compromised on “The Bark” as the moniker that would represent a new vision for a more self-sustainable future. Built primarily from recycled and repurposed materials, "The Bark" is designed to be a holistic structure built for the future including Aquaponics, Hydroponics, Exotic Mushroom Cultivation area, commercial Kitchen and Greenhouse. Solar power and hydronics, Rain catchment and numerous other work and entertainment areas have been incorporated into the building with the ultimate goal of sustainably contributing to the local Wyoming community.
